The object of study - the process of harmonization of the Budget and Tax Codes. Research methods - the study used dialectical and empirical methods, in particular the methods of analysis, synthesis, classification, grouping and comparison. The results and novelty - have been developed theoretical and methodological foundations of harmonization of the Budget and Tax Codes of Ukraine, based on the consistency of the budget and tax law, a model of integrity of the financial system, identified ways to harmonize the provisions of the codes. The practical significance - in the study were substantiated and proposed the following recommendations for harmonization of the Budget and Tax Code of Ukraine: substantiated changes in the codes regarding the consistency of terminology; developed proposals to ensure consistency of regulations to implement the provisions of these codes; draft amendments to the regulations. Sphere of application - the results of the scientific research can be used by the Ministry of Finance.
