An aim of the work is to develop the methods of calculation of stresses and microstructure of cylindrical parts under multilayered lateral surfacing and following operational thermomechanical loading, which is localized on angular coordinate. Theoretical investigations were carried out on the base of mechanics of growing nonhomogeneous viscoplastic bodies. Iterative and time step methods as well as finite element method were used for numerical modelling. The solution methods for axe symmetric and plain deformation of cylindrical parts with accounting of residual stresses are developed. Mathematical modelling of thermomechanical processes under surfacing of roll from 50ХФА steel by two layers 08кп and 25Х5ФМС steels and its following operational loading in high temperature cycles and cycles of pressure was carried out. It was found that the regime of cyclic plasticity in the roll under thermomechanical loading of hot surfacing doesn't appear. For higher values cyclic plasticity and low-cycle fatigue failure are possible. To prevent low-cycle fatigue failure one must choose material of intermediate layer with greater cyclic yield stress, e.g. 12ХНФ steel.
