It is determined that introduction of 7 % zirconia into composition of grain masses and firing in oxidizing atmosphere at temperature 1550 °C ensures thermal shock resistance of middle dense chromic oxide refractories, determined on the mode 950 °C - water, to > 20 thermal cycles.The technology of manufacturing of new kind of products - middle dense chromic oxide refractories with zirconia addition for bushing blocks of feeders of glassmelting furnaces for one-stage production fiberglass from "Е" glass is developed. Chromic oxide with zirconia addition middle dense bushing blocks, having increase thermal shock resistance, with following indexes of properties: open porosity 25-27 %, apparent density 3,75-3,85 g/sm3, cold crushing strength 85-120 N/mm2, thermal shock resistance on mode 950 °С - water 16-20 thermal cycles were manufactured. Products are placed in feeders of industrial furnaces for production fiberglass from "Е" glass.In compliance with the contracts trial lots of refractories for industrial furnaces for production fiberglass were produced.Continue the work in direction of expansion of adoption of chromic oxide with zirconia addition middle dense bushing blocks for glassmelting furnaces for production fiberglass.
