The recommendations on the rational use of refractories for providing of equal resistance of glassmelting furnace elements are given.The research of composition and structure of chromic oxide, corundum oxide zirconium silicate and corundum-chromic oxide, containing 10 % Cr2O3, refractory samples, made in PJSC "UKRAINIAN RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF REFRACTORIES NAMED AFTER A.S. BEREZHNOY", after service in the glassmelting furnace for production fiberglass during 7 years of 4 months is carried out. High resistance of chromic oxide refractories to nonalkaline alumoboronsilicate "Е" glass is exposed and it is determined that their wear in the process of exploitation takes place as a result of saturation of refractories by glass and ousting of basic components, composing refractory, in glass melt with subsequent their washing-out. The wear of corundum oxide zirconium silicate and corundum-chromic oxide (with content 10 % Cr2O3) refractories in the process of service is realized by penetration of glass melt in refractory, its interaction with the components of refractory and gradual substitution of corundum or corundum, containing Cr2O3 in solid solution, to more low-melt anorthite and glass phase, and subsequent fusion saturated by anorthite and glass of layer of refractory.It is determined that at manufacturing of chromic oxide refractories ХСУ brand by ТУ У 26.2-00190503-306:2007 partial replacement of the chromic oxide products cutting and scrap of factions 1-0,5 and < 0,5 mm in the blend on the chromic oxide refractories breakage after service in glassmelting furnace for production fiberglass grains of the same factions is possible. The researches are carried out and new production - corundum-chromic oxide refractories with addition 30 % chromic oxide is developed. Optimum composition of mass, providing the receipt of samples with apparent density 3,33 g/sm3, open porosity 15,4 %, cold crushing strength 136 N/mm2 is determined. High corrosion resistance to melts of "E", "C" glasses and basalt of the samples of developed composition refractories is established at the test by crucible method at a temperature 1580 С and exposure 8 hours. After the corrosion resistance test the research of developed refractory microstructure is carried out and character their interaction with melt of "E" glass, which consists in penetration of glass in refractory, gradual corrosion of Al2O3 with Cr2O3 in solid solution crystals and substituting of the components of refractory to glass phase and anorthite is determined.In experimental production of PJSC "UKRAINIAN RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF REFRACTORIES NAMED AFTER A.S. BEREZHNOY" under an author supervision trial lots of chromic oxide refractories ХСУ brand (ТУ У 26.2-00190503-306:2007) and corundum-chromic oxide refractories, containing 30 % chromic oxide, КХ-30 brand (ТУ У 26.2-00190503-342:2011) are manufacturing.Continue the work in direction of improvement of chromic oxide and corundum-chromic oxide refractories technologies and expansion of their application places, and also in direction of wider usage of chromic oxide refractories breakage.
