The object of the study is the assessment of the hydrological and hydrochemical regimes of separate regions of the Azov - Black sea basin. In the article the estimation of the variability of hydrological - hydrochemical characteristics of the marine environment with the help of statistical and hydrodynamic models, as well as the assessment of the navigation - hydrographic shipping security in the territorial waters of Ukraine. The source data for the performance of work are the arrays of the observations for the period 1976 - 2005 and the literature data.
