Objects of the investigation are aquatic ecosystems basins of the river Tisa, the Lower Dniester and the Southern Bug, tributaries of Dnieper, small rivers Danube-Dniester interfluve and estuaries of the North-Western Black Sea region. Objective of this work is a estimation of ecological conditions of rivers in Ukraine by mathematical models was used at the chair of hydroecology and water research. Methods of the investigation are the conservation laws of mass of the fluid, the equation of kinematic waves, water balance, water-exchange calculation methods, statistical methods, equations of the dynamics of sediment transport. The results of the investigation. Such mathematical models was considered in the research work of the chair: - spatial model of flood flow and the transport of dissolved chemicals substances, whose components are represented as numerical implementations, and can be used in the calculations and prediction; - model of water balance, the practical realization of which is available for Kuyal'nik estuary; - a model of water exchange, which was based on the method of Timchenko, implemented for Tiligul estuary; - a model of channel-floodplain water of the river Dniester, which was based on the method of Timchenko; - spatial and temporal generalization of the ecological state of rivers in Ukraine on the basis of statistical methods; - model of the erosion of soil washing, transport and deposition of sediment on watersheds of the rivers. This works are devoted to the implementation of hydroecological monitoring of small rivers of Odessa region as a basis for educational practice students hydroecologist, subsequent mathematical modeling in hydroecological calculations and predictions (by the example of the river Baraboi, Odessa region). Scientific novelty consists in applying an integrated approach to the study of the ecological state of water object, consisting of organizations hydroecological monitoring, summarizing of data hydroecological observations, descriptions of spatial-temporal dynamics of surface flow into water objects with sediment transport and runoff of chemicals substances, and further development of methods for hydroecological calculations by use in "hot spots" of aquatic ecosystems, such as Kuyal'nik, Tiligul estuary, small rivers of Odessa region. Results of research was presented at the V Congress of Ukrainian society hydroecological "Current ecological problems of continental and marine ecosystems"; International scientific-practical conference "Modern problems of water reservoirs and their watersheds", Perm State University, Perm, Russia; fifth all-Ukrainian scientific conference "Hydrology, Hydrochemistry, Gidroecology", 22-24 September 2011, Chernivtsi, Chernivtsi National University; All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference "Ecology of urban and recreational areas", Odessa, 02-03 June 2011; fifth scientific-practical conference with international participation "The mathematical and simulation systems MODS'2010", 21-25 June 2010.
