Differential cross sections of sub-nuclear processes involving heavy quarks initiated in proton-proton collisions at the center-of-mass energies from 1 to 7 TeV are measured. As part of the development of future experiments on the study of compressed nuclear matter CBM, the simulations of collective processes which may be signaling of the quark-gluon plasma formation (radial and elliptic flow in hydro-kinetic model) are performed. The characteristics of CBM detector module prototypes using the radioactive sources, laser and high energy test beams are investigated. The performance of new systems for monitoring charged particle beams and synchrotron radiation based on the micro metal detectors designed in INR of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is investigated. The perspective application areas in various fields of research are defined.
