Their seasonal variations during autumn and winter have been determined as well as trends for their spatial changes. The peculiarities of the environmental impact of most ecologically hazardous enterprises in Donetsk have been evaluated. The algae content at monitoring sites was studied together with their diversity, quantities, as well as results of spectrophotometric and fluourometric measurements. The dynamics of algae properties was studied as a function of environmental factors. The background for phytoplankton database has been laid down to build a bioindication system for water state assessment and determination of correlation with environmental factors of a technogenically transformed region of Donbass. The results of studies on intensity of processes of lipids peroxidation in Flammulina velutipes and Pleurotus ostreatus has been studied at various monitoring sites. A database has been formed on this indicator. A general biological rule has been proved that any organism under an influence of a new factor or while adapting to a new ecological niche either becomes resistant or, as a rule, adapts and changes the reaction norms. It is achieved by means of variability in ontogenetic and physiological properties. The adaptations resulting in formation of a microbiota of an urbanized system have been found. The basidiomycetes of Flammulina velutipes and Pleurotus ostreatus have been demonstrated as viable indicators of environment state. Chemoluminescence studies are very promising because the intensity of free radicals reactions and antioxidant protection in live systems varies under the influence of various environmental factors. A prototype of sensitive photon counter for an automated biomonitoring is developed and tested. The published material includes 1 workbook (approved by Ministry of Education and Science), 4 papers, 7 conference presentations, 1 patent, 2 Master of Science, 5 Diploma works and 10 courseworks.
