The aim of the dissertation is to develop integral conception of modern scientific approaches to the design in the conditions of globalization. The basic data for analysis of design in the conditions of modern society transformation are the following: comparative historical method that helps to analyze different views of existence and dynamic of design establishment within the temporal coordinates of the certain historical epoch; phenomenalogical that helps to comprehend phenomenon of design as complex mutual civilized appearance and discover its deep connection with spiritual energy of nature fundamental principle; dialectical that provides the possibility to consider design development interactively with the visual environment and an individual; general scientific methods analogue of analysis and synthesis, conversion from abstractive to the specific helping to philosophically understand the design as the integral phenomenon/ The results of scientific research are based on the developed by the author recommendations for establishment of design-education implemented into the education process in Zaporozhue National Technical University for the specialty “Industrial design”. Certain theoretic conceptual statements of research can be used within process of course of lectures development for disciplines “Design Philosophy”, “Industrial design”, “Interior Design”, “Landscape design” and so on.
