Object of work - determination of the technical characteristics actual values for conformity assessment of carriages prototypes to the technical assignment and normative documentation requirements. Experimental researches results for mentioned carriages are given in the report: tare weight and maximum static load from a wheelset to rails determination;- illumination level indexes, ergonomics and indoor equipment safety determination;-water resistance of passenger saloons, operator's cab, roof equipment determination. These researches were carried out according to methodology of GP "UkrNIIV" that was approved in established order. Research work results are used for solving the question on setting prototypes of transit vehicles equipped with a induction motor drive into manufacture. Prognostic assumptions concerning object of study - adoption of the series manufacture of domestic competitive underground trains equipped with induction motor drive.
