The object of the research - objects and phenomena of traditional folk culture of the contaminated Polissya areas affected by the Chornobyl disaster. The aim of the research - generalization and introduction of field research materials to the scientific and general cultural turnover. The research methods - analytical study of field materials obtained by the complex historical and ethnographic expedition of DNCZKSTK (State Scientific Centre for Cultural Heritage Protection from Technogenic Catastrophes) to the localities of Volodymyretskyi and Dubrovytskyi districts, Rivnenska region. During 2010-2011, field materials, which were obtained during the complex expedition to the injured villages of Rivnenska region were studied: Berezyn, Byshliak, Bilska Volia, Velyki Tseptsevychi, Velykhiv, Voronky, Horodets, Horodok, Zelene, Luko, Mali Telkovychi, Mulchytsi, Netreba, Ozero, Ozertsi, Polytsi, Romeiky, Svaryni, Stepanhorod, Hynochi - villages of Volodymyretskyi district; Kurash and Osova - Dubrovytskyi district, which belong to the Zone of guaranteed voluntary resettlement. Results of the research provide the basis for the core publication of DNCZKSTK and will be used to form the scientific and informational fund on ethnocultural heritage of the Ukrainian Polissya suffered areas.
