A complex of differentiated medicated products for children with overweight and obesity with the use of psychocorrective, motivational, physical and dietary methods was developed and introduced. Overweight (24,09%) and obesity (15,30%) spread among children and teenagers in the Odessa region during last 10 years were analyzed, informative medical-social risk and advance factors of this pathology were determined and systematized. Genetic peculiarities of PON1 and FTO genes polymorphisms in the children of the Odessa region were studied and their significance in the development of overweight and obesity, depending on the level of physical activity and the character of feeding, was determined. The diagnostic value of impedansometry, as a sensitive method (Se = 82 %; Sp = 74 %) of measuring the fat and lean body weight, was proved. Diagnostic markers of overweight and obesity in children through measuring their neck girth were established. The received results of the follow-up study for 3 years prove expediency of practical use of the suggested differentiated medicated complexes.
