However, this marker can be used only after the priming process and it is not sensitive enough. Unscheduled DNA repair synthesis during germination of primed seeds was studied. Determined that the potential ability of repair systems for the restoration of additional DNA damage caused by acute gamma irradiation may be a reliable marker for the quality of priming sugar beet seeds.
