Such devices include antennas, arrays, high-quality resonant elements etc. The following results have been obtained: The theory of scattering of electromagnetic waves on lattices containing a large number of dielectric resonators was developed. The approximate electrodynamic scattering models of pulses of electromagnetic waves on systems of coupled dielectric resonators were developed. The possibility of realization of band-pass and band-stop filters using fundamental modes of dielectric resonators in infrared waveband was shown. The S-parameters of the filters were calculated. The basic mechanisms of scattering of electromagnetic waves on dielectric resonator arrays in open space were investigated. The novel structures most suitable for design of filters, antennas, power splitters, concentrators etc. were found. The mechanisms of scattering of basic types of ultra-short infrared pulses on dielectric resonator filters and arrays were investigated. The recommendations concerning the parameters of lasers, pulses and filters were stated. Following these recommendations would provide transmission and receiving errors decrease in optical telecommunication systems. The new type of high-quality infrared spherical dielectric resonators covered of periodic structure consisting of dielectric layers was introduced and investigated. The coupling coefficients of dielectric resonators with new microwave structures and open space were investigated. The obtained results have allowed forming the full electrodynamic models of a large number of filters and arrays using the multi-element dielectric resonator structures, which, in turn, allows their design and optimization.
