The aim of research is the study of natural electromagnetic fields, frequencies and self-excitation thresholds of open resonators and lasers. This is achieved through the development of new mathematical models, computational algorithms, and subsequent computer-aided analysis. The method of research is numerical modelling using convergent algorithms for the Maxwell equations with exact boundary and radiations conditions. As a result, we have built new mathematical models of periodic resonators shaped as infinite gratings of nanosize noble-metal wires and strips equipped with active regions made of quantum wires. In finite gratings, the influence of the number of periods on the high-quality grating resonances has been studied. Non-stationary optical fields of circular plasmonic resonators have been studied, excited by a complex-point source. In this case, the presence in the total field of plasmon modes of various orders with close frequencies has been shown. Product Description popup.authors Бєлобров В.О. Балабан М.В. Булигін В.С.
