There were described 107 alleles at five microsatellite loci in a total sample of 124 trees. The greatest number of alleles (93) has been noted for the plus trees of Belarusian selection. There was noted a somewhat lower number of alleles at these loci (86) for the plus trees of Ukrainian selection, and the lowest number of alleles was noted for the random trees (83). The greatest allelic diversity in all tree samples was characteristic of two loci: Pttx3116 and Spac12.5, and the lowest one was characteristic of Spac11.8. The mean level of observed heterozygosity at five microsatellite loci was lower by 24.5% and 16.1% respectively in samples of plus trees of Ukrainian (Ho = 0.533) and Belarusian (Ho = 0.592) selection compared to the random P. sylvestris trees (Ho = 0.706) from the Ukrainian plantations. For all of the three tree samples the values of observed heterozygosity were significantly lower than those of the expected heterozygosity. That is, there was established a deficit of heterozygotes at all of the studied microsatellite loci. The highest deficit of heterozygotes was detected in plus trees of Ukrainian selection (39.8%), a somewhat lower deficit (35%) was noted in the plus trees from Belarus and the lowest one (21.2%) was detected in random trees. In the studied tree samples, some 99% of genetic variation, according to the FST coefficient, is accounted for by an intra-sample component and only about 1% is accounted for an inter-sample one. At the same time, three P. sylvestris tree samples are sufficiently differentiated. Ney's genetic distance coefficient (DN) between the plus and random trees from Ukrainian plantations was 0.093, that between the plus trees of Ukrainian and Belarusian selection was by 2,6 times higher (0.241). It is an evidence that there are significant genetic differences between P. sylvestris plus trees of different geographical origin. Among P. sylvestris plus trees of Ukrainian and Belarusian selection there are individual homozygous trees at all of the studied microsatellite loci. Observed heterozygosity is 0.4-0.6 in a significant number of plus trees of Ukrainian selection (25 individuals, or 69.4%). Among the plus trees of Belarusian selection there dominated those with observed heterozygosity of 0.4-0.8 (41 tree or 78.8% of their total number). The genetic signatures at five microsatellite loci have been established for each plus tree. Each tree has its own unique multilocus genotype.
