Theoretical proof and manufacturing principles of working model of the system of two mutually orthogonal cylindrical electrical probes have been developed. Construction documentation has been developed, working model of the system of two mutually orthogonal cylindrical electrical probes has been manufactured, physical modeling has been carried out and the end effect of the ion saturation current collecting in the hypersonic rarefied plasma flow has been realized. Lviv Center of the Institute of Space Research of NASU and SSAU has developed the principles of making the current measurement device of the plasma diagnostic system, basic electric circuit, model has been manufactured and current measurement device parameters have been studied. Modeling experimental researches of the working capacity of the working model of the system of two mutually orthogonal cylindrical probes with the model of the current measurement device, that are the new onboard system of diagnostic and information gathering about parameters of the charged and neutral components of the ionospheric plasma, have been carried out on the plasmadynamic set of the ITM of NASU and SSAU. The results of the current work are aimed to the scientific experiment preparation on the board of the spacecraft "Microsat" and to the interpretation of the output signals of the cylindrical probe of the spacecraft "Sich-2" scientific equipment.
