The nominally pure KDP single crystals and single crystals KDP: NAO, KDP:Si were grown by co-executors in Institute for Single Crystals of NAS of Ukraine for studying of the nonlinear optical (NLO) properties. The nanoparticles concentration in KH2PO4 vary from 0.1 to 100 ppm. The self-action effects in mentioned composite systems were studied within the picosecond laser pulses excitation (1064 nm, 42 ps). It was shown that the NLO response of the single crystals with incorporated nanoparticles differs from the nominally pure matrix one. The photoinduced variations of the absorption coefficient and refractive index depend on the nanoparticles concentration as well as the crystal growth sector. The phenomena could appear due to to the impurities surface defects excitation and interection with the intrinsic KDP matrix defects on developed surfaces of nanoparticles. The different impact of nanoparticles on NLO response in different growth sectors could be attributed to the different intrinsic deffects concentration as well as to the predominant nanoparticles capture at relative growth sector.
