Object of research is a distributed system that has the following components: client side components, server-side components, and data base to store geo-information products. Methods of research include digital image processing, intelligent computations, structural analysis, object-oriented programming. We developed a prototype version of a geoportal that enables discovery of radar and optical satellite data and visualization of geo-products using high-performance computation to support decision-making in case of emergencies.
