Research methods: The theoretical substantiation of the calculated procedure of the maximum runoff of rivers, time series, the three-dimensional generalization of the characteristics of maximum runoff, expeditionary studies in the territory, which is heated flooding. Results and the novelty: Is proposed the procedure of calculation characteristics of the maximum discharges of water of the rare probability of exceeding and on its basis are determined the zones of possible flood in basin of Psyaruv river (in bounds of territory Vijnetskiy district of the Chernovitskiy region).
