The object of study is surface and underground waters of the Southern Crimea. The objective of the work is the development of proposals to address water supply to the Crimea, as well as the development of recommendations for the mitigation of dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena. A generalized assessment of the ecological status of the West Crimean coastal marine area is given. It is shown that in the area of military and economic facilities the marine water quality and the status of sediments does not meet accepted standards. The facts of submarine discharge of polluted water into the sea are established. A study of the water regime of the river Belbek is made based on data from the State Water Cadastre and the use of water potential of the river is proposed by construction of a backup reservoir in the ravine "Temnaya" in order to solve the problem of water supply improving in Sevastopol. As one of the possible ways to recharge water resources the submarine discharge sources are investigated. To estimate discharges of submarine groundwater sources the new measuring devices are designed, manufactured and tested. To solve the problem of forecasting the catastrophic floods in the Crimea, the following work is done: - the numerical model of atmospheric circulation and the numerical model of extreme floods are adapted to the Crimean region; - the fields of atmospheric precipitation in the Southern coast of Crimea, obtained by modeling, are entered into the numerical model of extreme floods; - the test calculations of extreme flood parameters are performed, and their results meet the observational data. Keywords: SUBMARINE DISCHARGE, ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT, WATER SUPPLY, MODEL OF ATMOSPHERIC CIRCULATION, HYDRAULIC MODEL OF CATASTROPHIC FLOODS.
