The latter problem is one of the most popular topics in many leading centers of nuclear physics across the world. To resolve these problems, the Algebraic Version of the Resonating Group Method, which was earlier formulated in the Nuclear Structure Department, is advanced and new theoretical approaches, based on this method, are formulated for describing many-channel and many-cluster systems. Realistic approximations are suggested for theoretical analysis of reactions and processes with three-clusters in the continuous spectrum. The nature of resonance states in three-cluster continuum is studied in detail. The formulated approaches are applied to calculate properties of light atomic nuclei and obtained results are in accordance with the available experimental data. These approaches demonstrate high degree of the competitive ability to the existing modern microscopic methods.
