Tarnawsky etc., with application of modern literary approaches and research methods. It also covers the writing of articles for "Franko Encyclopedia", the first fundamental publication in the Ukrainian literary criticism which is devoted to a comprehensive presentation of Ivan Franko's figure as a writer, a scholar, a thinker, a cultural, public and political world level activist in Slavic, European and the global context. The theoretical and practical results on the theme: about 356 articles for "Franko Encyclopedia" have been written; the two-volume monograph on P. Kulish' works, 2 individual monographs on Yu. Tarnawsky's works, 3 editions of the unpublished Ukrainian writers' and scholars' legacy, 4 individual monographs and 3 shared collections of scientific works on I. Franko studies and 536 different genres publications (scientific papers, literary-critical explorations and reviews, translations, etc., including 33 articles in foreign editions) have been published. The implementation of this scientific theme has opened new opportunities for the qualitative and deep understanding of the XIX - XX centuries' coherent literary process.
