Analytical expression for cubic part of the surface plasmon dipole moment has been obtained. It was shown that the real part of the cubic dipole moment expression connected with the surface plasmon is resonantly increased with the field frequency approaching the resonance. An analytical dependence of cubic nonlinearity versus nonspheroidality of the NP was obtained. Using the technique of nanospherical lithography periodic nanostructures of aurum and silver have been synthesized on the alkali glass substrates with the set of NP of triangular shape 200nm and 20nm of height. Nanostructures of Ag and Au have also been synthesized by means of technique of sputtering and following annealing. NP in the structures have ablate shape nanosphers with different ratio of their diameter to height. It was obtained values of ?(3) at wavelength ? =532nm for Au ?(3) =8*10-5 esu and Ag ?(3) =1,2*10-5 esu. For Au NP of the ablate shape it was shown that the value of ?(3) for the ? =532nm which is close to the plasmon resonance is substantially dependent upon the ratio D/h, where D is the diameter and h is the height of a NP. In our case it was experimentally observed ….increasing with the D/h by factor 3. The arranged Au and Ag structures synthesized by nanospher lithography technique showed no visible nonlinear response as a result of the surface morphology imperfection.
