The models with the late time accelerations are used to solve the dark energy problem. We obtain formulas for the perihelion shift, the deflection of light, the time delay of the radar echoes and the parameterized post-Newton parameters in multidimensional Kaluza-Klein models with toroidal compactification of the extra dimensions. It is shown that the models with the compact gravitating sources, which have dust equation of state in all spatial dimensions, contradict the observational data.
