The metal-fulleren composites (Ag: C60, Au: C60, Al: C60, Ti: C60, Cu: C60) were obtained using vacuum thermal method. Their atomic structure and optical properties have been studied. The defect structure of materials depending on the conditions of vacuum deposition and annealing have been studied. It was found that the simultaneous deposition of metals (Au, Ag, Cu) and fullerene formed nanocrystalline film consisting of a mixture of metal and fullerite crystallites, and fullerene molecules contribute to reducing the size of metal crystallites. It is possibility for forming a small particles which can cause surface plasmon resonance absorption. It was established that the mechanism of formation of composite C60:Ag films differs from the observed C60: Au and C60: Al systems, which may be due to the presence of a strong interaction between groups of Ag atoms and C60 molecules, and which resulted in formation of solid solution with C60 . In nanodispersed (Ag: C60, Au: C60, Al: C60, Cu: C60) films, if content of C60 less than 50% the surface plasmon resonance absorption was determined experimentally.
