In accordance with the concept of reform and development of forestry in one of the ways to implement this task is the introduction of more accurate accounting of the timber and the harmonization of national regulations in the forestry sector with relevant international standards. This is possible trough the participation in the robot's international forest organizations, expansion of cooperation and the general scientific research. Develop national standard instead of GOST 2708-75 "Pulpwood. Tables of volumes" urgent, because the current standard in most cases does not provide sufficient accuracy in determining the volume of round timber of different of rise. The introduction of this standard will allow more accurate accounting of round timber in their realization in the markets, subject to the measurement of at least 100 assortments.
