Calculation method for carbonic acid gas emission during production of cast iron, steel and ferroalloy (taking into account production of sinter mix and pellets) was developed. Information sources needed for realization of proposed method were determined and offers for upgrading of state statistic report were developed. One calculated volumes of carbonic acid gas emission during production of cast iron, steel and ferroalloy for 1990-2010 which were comparable with appropriate data of National cadastre of emission from sources and absorption by absorbents of greenhouse gases in Ukraine for 1990-2009.
