The purpose of research is to improve the protection of personal data storage by creating the software block chiper. The analysis of well-known approaches that are used during the process to ensure a secure data storage method based on symmetric block chipers and identified their main drawbacks. We developed methods of symmetric block chipers which realized pspseudo nondeterministic sequence crypto primitives and split an incoming message into blocks of variable length, determined by a secret key and can speed up the encryption process by reducing the number of rounds using elementary operations, which are most easily and quickly implemented in modern microprocessors. Thus, the possibility of creating such a large number of block cipher encryption algorithm modifications theoretically makes it impossible to previous statistical studies that are basic to the most powerful methods of modern cryptoanalysis. A software tool for the protection of personal data, which allows for protection of personal data during storage and transmission, which helped to improve information security of company. Results of research are introduced into the process of secure storage of personal data "Vinnitsa-mlin". The results of research related to the field of cryptographic protection of information and can be used in systems processing information during transmission and storage.
