Purposes of the work are generalization of factual materials as to natural and man-caused threats, analysis and forecasting of potential threats, determination of the sphere of the problems of the system for the preparation to actions under emergencies, as well as their scientific and technical and material supplement, detailed consideration of the progress achieved, and determination of the directions of the perfection of the problems for the population and territories protection of natural emergencies. Method of the research is the analytical one. The National report as to the situation with the safety concerned with the man-caused as well as natural factors in Ukraine having been developed is an annual informational and analytical document to enlighten the real situation concerned with the man-caused as well as natural factors in Ukraine for the certain year, and totals of the activities of the United state system of the civil protection, actual problems concerned with the safety concerned with the man-caused as well as natural factors, and ways and methods of their solution.
