Purpose - a comprehensive study of technological properties of domestic and foreign coal and determine its possible use as pulverized fuel. As a result of market research resources of Ukrainian coal that meets the requirements that are imposed on raw materials for production of pulverized fuel, you can draw the following conclusions: 1. Balance reserves of Ukrainian coal which is suitable for the production of pulverized fuel - are significant, and their development can fully meet the needs of this technology. 2. Resources planned production this year of coal are characterized by the presence of 1.5 million tons of low-sulfur (up to 1.0%) gas coal and anthracite - 5-6 million tons. Resources rank coal of Q, the most used for the production of PVP, with the sulfur content is only 100 thousand tons, and containing up to 2% - 410 thousand tons. 3. Expected in 2011, the resources of ordinary coals DG and D with the release of volatile substances to 36% and sulfur content of 2% could reach 1.6 million tons, including the sulfur content of 1.0% to 800 thousand tons or 50%. 4. For use in the manufacture of PVP can be recommended for concentrated coal gas which is produced by concentrating plants for coking "Komsomolskaya", "Dobropolskaya", "Selidivska", "Oktyabrska" (average 7.9% ash content, sulfur content 1.54%, the yield of volatile substances 36.0%). 5. Concentrate coal of P, which is produced for CEP "Vuzlovska" in the amount of 75 thousand tons per year, has a sulfur content of 2.2%. 6. The largest volumes that meet the requirements of ash and sulfur content, producing factories that enrich anthracite (2.2 million tonnes with average ash content 7.6% and 1.43% sulfur content). 7. However, keep in mind that grade anthracite (primarily brands AK, AKO, and AO) is Ukraine's exports, and therefore prevent its raw material base in PVP is very problematic. Thus, the wide distribution of pulverized fuel injection technology in blast furnaces of metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine, the supply of domestic coal this technology may be insufficient, making it necessary to consider covering the expected deficit of imported coal.
