The basic methods of research include the analysis of the Einstein equations, the membrane approach, the quasiblack hole approach, the analysis of the behaviour of geodesic particles in the near-horizon region. The results obtained can be used in theoretical physics and astrophysics. We found the conditions under which equilibrium is possible between electrically charged matter and the event horizon. The conditions of the acceleration of particle by black holes are found. The properties of the entropy of black and quasiblackl holes are investigated. We showed that quasiblack hole approach enables to obtain the value of the entropy in the extremal case.
