It was shown that in the 31P NMR spectra of apatites of different compositions the notable increase of line width at half maximum with increasing of carbon dioxide content at a constant chemical shift was observed, due to decrease of apatite density. It was shown the presence of two bands in the 19F NMR spectra due to the fluorine atoms in non-equivalent structural positions. Computer modeling of the structure of synthesized fluorapatite was carried out, the possible versions of structure defects were considered.
