The experimental study of heat transfer and hydraulic losses in rectangular channels, the surface of which is covered by spherical indentations and protrusions of different shapes was performed. The effect of free and "cluttered" channel was studied. The efficiency of thermal-hydraulic of studied surface-vortex systems was investigated. The conditions for rapid growth of heat transfer were determined. Engineering methods of calculation of heat transfer of studied heat transfer surfaces were proposed.
