The ablative reactor of original design with conical screw was a basis of installation construction. The fundamental conclusion about the possibility of bio-oil production by ablative pyrolysis of biomass in the reactor of proposed design was made. Regime parameters of biomass fast pyrolysis laboratory unit work have been optimized. The technology of biomass fast pyrolysis have been worked through at the laboratory unit for existing conditions and with the sawdust usage as a fuel. The resulting liquid is not mixed with starter diesel fuel, which is a proof that it is a product of fast pyrolysis. The recommendations for the design of the pilot biomass ablative pyrolysis plant of more power and improved design were developed. The main element of the new design solution is a division of bio-oil catching system into two blocks - bio-oil condensation and cooling / drying of pyrolysis gas and the usage of flue gases generated during combustion of dried pyrolysis gas to heat the reactor.
