The goal of the work is implementation of norms and principles of the UN Convention on the rights of invalids into the Ukrainian legislation, as well as planning of indexes of development of rehabilitation system of invalids for the period up to 2020. Methods of the research are: comparison analysis, comparison of norms and principles of the UN Convention on the rights of invalids and the Ukrainian legislation in the sphere of safeguarding and protection of the rights of invalids. The novelty of the work consists in determination of directions and working out of concrete measures on bringing national legislative-normative basis in accordance with norms and principles of the UN Convention on the rights of invalids.
