Purpose - to identify patterns of sustainable development of Ukraine in terms of global integration to develop the basis for scientific substantiation of the strategy of self-sustaining development of Ukraine and its regions. Patterns of administration of socio-economic development processes in Ukraine to ensure sustainability of the country based on its innovative modernization are identified. Interrelation between reaching the objectives of national socio-economic development, character of managing country's global integration and mechanisms of inclusion of global factors in national development strategies is substantiated. Author discusses that approaching to innovative breakthrough depends on country's vision and mission, developed in major countries by special think tanks designed to initiate changes. Mechanism of science policy implementation as a factor of innovation and sustainable development of Ukraine is improved. The system of measures of innovation culture development is proposed. Formation of public policy for skilled labor should be based on development of strong innovative thinking scientific environment.
