The object of investigation is biotechnological methods of creation of collection of Beta vulgaris L representatives. Research objectives: the creation of the collection of the initial selective material and the studying of genetic variability of kalus crops in vitro, the representatives of Beta vulgaris L. Methods of investigation: individual selection, laboratory and statistic methods. The crop was introduced in vitro and the collection of the most promising components of hybrids Beta vulgaris L (var. saccharifera, var. crassa, var. esculenta) was worked out. 26 CHS lines, 21 lines of O-type, 26 polyspermous pollinators and 12 specimens of fodder beet were reproduced and adapted. The plants were improved and transferred to modified in vitro nutrition habitat, according to the proper conditions of cultivation.
