Purpose of the work - development and production of three-dimensional Hall magnetometer by modernizing the existing laboratory prototype up to the level of an experimental prototype, which can be put into production and promoted on the market as a commercial product. Method of research - modernization of the three-dimensional magnetometer prototype that includes enhancement of the prototype's technical parameters and construction design, which will widen its capacities in the measurement process and make the usage of the three-dimensional magnetometer more convenient and competitive on the magnetic measuring instrumentation market. The three-dimensional magnetometer represents magnetic measuring instrumentation that allows to measure three orthogonal projections of magnetic field induction vector as well as calculate the value of the magnetic induction vector magnitude regardless of the three-dimensional probe's orientation. Among the major requirements for instrumentation of the kind one may mention: minimal dimensions and high spatial definition; high sensitivity, linearity and temperature stability of transduction characteristics; capability of measuring three orthogonal projections BX, BY and BZ of magnetic field vector; capability of functioning under inhomogeneous magnetic fields and extreme operation conditions. To achieve such superiority over competitors the following elements have been created and used in the process of development and production of the three-dimensional magnetometer: - Hall sensors based on InSb/i-GaAs heterostructures, the characteristics of which remain stable under ionizing radiation; - optical methods for positioning sensors and elements of three-dimensional probe's construction, which have ensured high orthogonality and flatness of the instrumentation's parts; - miniaturization of the three-dimensional probe's active volume; - multifunctional control electronics ; - software that enables visualization of the acquired data in digital and graphical form.
