Objectives: 1) General clinical and instrumental characteristics of persons with a sedentary lifestyle (anthropometric, clinical blood and urine tests, infection Helicobacter pylori tests, blood glucose and glycated hemoglobin), 2) study the OS and inflammation markers in the blood of persons surveyed, 3) study of HRV parameters, 4) investigation of correlation between parameters of heart rate variability, markers of oxidative stress, inflammation and major clinical parameters. A study included the evaluation of heart rate variability and parameters of oxidative stress in healthy individuals with a sedentary lifestyle, patients peptic ulcer and duodenal ulcers in patients with Marfan syndrome. It is proved that the reduction of the parameters of heart rate variability is associated with the deterioration of the general condition of the body of the subject to be correlated with the severity of functional and metabolic abnormalities and the severity of the manifestations of oxidative stress. Increased physical activity and use of beta-carotene, 30 mg / day for four weeks improves biochemical parameters and increased heart rate variability. The correlation analysis of the relationships of heart rate variability, markers of oxidative stress, inflammation and common clinical indicators confirms the close relationship between the metabolic status of the body and the functional state of the circulatory system. The power and expressiveness of correlations increases with the intensity of exposure and the growing severity of symptoms of the disease. Future continuation of this research, include analysis of plasma samples for the content of beta-carotene and its metabolic products (University of Salzburg, Austria), and analysis of samples of urine for 1,4-dihydroxynonanmercapturic acid (a marker of oxidative stress, which is present in the urine ), which will be held at the National Institute of Agronomic Research UMR INR-ENVT, Toulouse, France.
