Methods of researches are underground geological surveys, spatial analysis of mining and geological information based on results of underground survey during coal extraction. Regularities of small displacement faults' spatial distribution within coal seams and its genetic model for Zasyadko coal mine are depicted from standpoint of strike-slip tectonics. Domains of geodynamic events localization are structurally gravitated to local compression duplexes within shear zones. These structures result in the local accumulation of elastic energy within host coal-bearing rocks because of fading slices of fault thrust planes within roof or bottom of coal seams, initiate forming of the intra-layer densely-packed cleat systems parallel to bedding, serve as local traps during gas migration from deep-seated horizons of the basin.
