The relationship between the hydrogen concentration in metal and the level of applied stress under different physicochemical conditions of hydrogenation was established. The comparative assessment of susceptibility to hydrogenation of pipeline steels with different ultimate strength was made. The results of study were received under conditions that are close to real operating conditions of pipelines that making them suitable for use under development of assessment criteria of strength and serviceability of these structures.
