Objective: synthesis of 1,1 '-bissubstituted ferrocene ligands for use in cross-coupling reactions. Methods: organic and elementoorganic syntheses combined with physico-chemical methods (31P, 13C, 1H NMR and X-ray diffraction analysis). New method for the synthesis of 3H-benzazaphospholes starting from available C-phosphorylated arylformamidines by a cyclization reaction was developed and the reaction mechanism was proposed. A series of 3H-benzazaphospholes were prepared that can be used as ligands. A convenient preparative method for the synthesis of 1-amino-and 1,1 '-diaminoferrocenes which were used for synthesis of azaphosphole derivatives. New types of ferrocene ligands for use in cross-coupling reactions with transition metals were prepared. For the first time synthesized hexadentate ferrocene polyphosphine - 1,1,2,2,4,4-hexakis (diphenylphosphino) ferrocene was prepared and its coordination to molybdenum, rhodium, palladium and platinum was studied.
