Yanovsky popup.description2 Activity of gluthathione-depended and oxidant-antioxidant systems, status of nitric oxide system, CO concentration level in the blood of 80 patients by biochemical methods were determined in order to study the characteristics of dysfunctions of polyenzyme systems and neurotransmitters at idiopathic interstitial pneumonia (IIP). Reducing of glutathione depended enzymes activity, decreasing of endogenous nitric oxide metabolism, misbalance of blood antioxidant system were found. Patients with IIP have metabolic disorders which are characterized by some dependence on the clinical course, namely the degree of pulmonary insufficiency, and they are increasing in its growing. In experimental IFA tocopherol possesses expressively active influence on the catalytic properties of glutathione-depended enzymes, promotes the normalization of the oxidant-antioxidant system and the restore of endogenous nitric oxide metabolism in the blood.
