Short interfering RNA (siRNAs) for E2F8, HSPB8 and PBEF, transfected into U87 glioma cells, suppress the level of E2F8, HSPB8 and PBEF by qPCR, besides that siRNA-PBEF suppresses the expression not only PBEF mRNA, but also mRNA expressions of many key genes which control cell proliferation and malignant tumor growth. Thus, 5-fold suppression of PBEF mRNA expression by PBEF-siRNA activates the expression of BIRC5, RAB5C, TSPAN13, HOMER and IRS1 genes and suppresses the expression of KRT18, PER2, PRKCA, MYRL2, CLU, CUL4B and DEK genes. This data shown tight connection between gene expressions and open new possibility to find optimal ways for affecting the tumor growth.
