It was investigated a contribution of AMPA receptors in generation of spontaneous events in different subtypes of spinal cord neurons during control and CFA-induced peripheral inflammation. It was found that these receptors subtype plays a key role in inflammatory-induced increase in spontaneous activity of tonically firing dorsal horn neurons.
