Research purpose is to develop target devices and methods for production of radioisotopes with the required radionuclide purity for PET at cyclotron CV-28 at the NSC KIPT. This report focuses on the activity results of the creation of technical conditions for the production of PET isotopes at the cyclotron CV-28 at the NSC KIPT. Performed construction works on preparation for installation of CV-28 in the cyclotron hall briefly described. The principles of calculation and design of various target devices (gas, liquid and solid) that are necessary for production of isotopes at the cyclotron are discussed. Program method been developed for calculating the optimal irradiation conditions (type of accelerated particles, the choice of optimal energy, duration of exposure, the necessary degree of enrichment targets and so on) to provide the necessary radionuclide purity of radiopharmaceuticals. It was shown that production of radionuclide pure isotope 18F at the cyclotron CV-28 is possible in sufficient quantities without the use of expensive enriched H2 [18O]-targets.
