Object of research - methodological provision of combat training and conducted experiments with implementation of new system of training troops in the Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Purpose - drafting of Guidelines for combat training of the Army of Armed Forces of Ukraine. Research method - analysis of the state of affairs of the methodology of organization and conduction of combat training of the Army of Armed Forces of Ukraine and analysis of results of experiments with implementation of new system of training troops in the Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In research is analyzed current state of methodological support of the system of combat training in the Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is established the absence of common views on the terms and definitions in the combat training and also it’s defined the inconsistency of some of the terms and their definitions in accordance with applicable law. Furthermore, in the research is analyzed the results of experiments with implementation of new system of training troops in the Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It’s defined positive and negative aspects of implementation of new system of training troops and provided suggestions for its improvement. Based on the analysis of the research work is submitted the proposals for the structure and content of the Guidelines for Combat Training of the Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and proposed the project of Guidelines for combat training of the Army of Armed Forces of Ukraine. The project of Guidelines is developed on the basis of normative documents of training troops that are designed and approved to November 2012. The results obtained in research work can be used in developing of Guidelines of Combat Training of the Army of Armed Forces of Ukraine and military standards of combat training.
