Expression of a synthetic gene provides greenhouse plant resistance to the herbicide Roundup. Investigation of cyp11A1 canola plants under osmotic stress conditions induced by manitol revealed the line Т21а characterized as the one with biomass production in stress similar to that of control plants at the stress absence. It was also herbicide BASTA resistant. It characterized by increased total soluble protein content, decreased linolenic acid level in seeds and it produced seedlings with resistance to elevated temperature.
