It was determined that the ratio of the reacting components in modifying sol TEOS / MPTMS equal 1:1 on the original surface of the membrane with pores of size 0.2 microns observed the formation of a layer of nanoparticles of approximately 70 nm. The study by IR spectroscopy confirmed the presence of introduced 3-mercaptopropyl functional groups and formation of polysiloxane network on the surface membranes.
